Eat With Dignity
To better or strengthen your physical and spiritual bodies, you are encouraged to examine and use (if you have found it reliable) the knowledge discovered here and from other sources. If you are reading this right now, consider the significance of the knowledge contained within for your life, health, and well-being. The Most High leads us in everything that we do. We may believe we have a plan, but the Most High is the greatest of all planners.
Like everything else in the universe, food has its own unique energy and vibration. Try to imagine the food's vitality entering your body and working to nourish you while you eat. Even though we don't consciously realize it, we do this all the time. For example, when we're starving and finally get to sit down and enjoy some of mom's Sunday dinner, we fully experience the meal as it travels down our throats and stomachs. The food has satiated you; you've had enough to eat. Sometimes the sensation is so pleasant that you find yourself caressing your tummy and singing. This is exactly what we eat for, and why the satisfaction from a snack vanishes within 30 minutes, despite its name.
The digestive process begins with salivation before a meal, and if the food tastes good, your mood improves and your muscles relax, enabling more blood to flow to your digestive organs. When one has access to three nutritious meals per day, they seldom feel the need for snacks, and when they do, they tend to be of high quality. If you really value your body, you will always do what it needs to thrive. Unless you intend for them to, financial constraints will eventually be lifted.
If you continue to put off improving your health due to financial concerns, you will eventually incur higher medical costs. Growing your own organic veggies, herbs, and fruit at home may be a cost-effective way to ensure you're getting the health benefits without breaking the bank. Instead of spending money on expensive supplements, focus on making your own healthy foods and drinks at home. You'll get a lot more pleasure out of your meal if you take pride in knowing EXACTLY what's in it and having had some part in getting it ready, but never forget to offer gratitude to the one who played the largest part in getting it ready in the first place: the Creator.
Our bodies are miniature versions of the Earth, and vice versa; all of the qualities that characterize our home planet are present throughout the cosmos. So, we can't strive to merge with Earth and Mother Nature while harboring muck in our systems. Because much of what we eat becomes a part of us as it makes its way through our digestive systems and other bodily organs, we should give careful consideration to the foods we consume.
Let's pretend for a second that you had the ability to disassemble your body and examine its constituent parts. Try to picture your internal organs being made entirely of the food you've consumed over the previous year. Imagine waking up to find that your heart had turned into one of those diseased burgers you couldn't resist buying every time you passed the restaurant. Your lungs looked like two fatty steaks, and your blood was the same brown color as the cola you drink with your burger. The thought of the scent, the sensation, and the sight of it is overwhelming.
Try to put yourself in the shoes of someone who has just opened their body to find that their heart has been replaced with a clean, fresh bunch of red grapes; their bones have been replaced with firm carrots; their lungs have been replaced with two pineapples; and their blood has been replaced with pure, fresh water. This is, of course, only an example, but it's not too far from the reality and it will help you remember the stark contrast between the insides of a junk food slave and a person who takes good care of themselves. Even though our body is a gift from the Most High and an amazing feat of engineering, we shouldn't disregard it until it tells us there's a problem by hurting us. Keep in mind how important it is to treat your body, your food, and yourself with respect.
